Fees for registration to display the EU Common Logo as an online seller of human medicines to the public

All fees are payable on submission. Customers will not be able to complete the application without making the required payment.

Special arrangements for existing registration holders

The Falsified Medicines Directive (2011/62/EU) introduced a requirement for online sellers of human medicines to register to display the EU Common Logo, effective 1 July 2015.  At the time this legislation came into effect there was no legislation in place to govern the charging of fees and as such the MHRA accepted registrations without requesting a fee, subject to a fee consultation process. 

The public fee consultation has now closed and the MHRA has introduced a fee to cover the cost of registering online sellers of human medicine to the public and issuing them with the EU common logo.

Existing registration holders who applied and were approved in the period up to 31 March 2016, are required to pay a fee comprising the application fee and the renewal fee for the period 1 April 2016 to 31 March 2017.
